Customers are responsible for any additional services, waiting time, additional stops, or changes they request.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
Unless a different written cancellation policy is provided for a specific service:
Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the scheduled service may receive a refund of eligible amounts paid.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled service may be subject to a cancellation fee or loss of deposit.
No-shows may be charged the full booking amount.
Wedding, private-group, and special-event reservations may have different cancellation and deposit requirements, which will be disclosed before booking.
Refunds are subject to the terms communicated at the time of purchase.
4. Delays & Waiting Time
Island Girl Taxi & Tours understands that travel in the Virgin Islands can involve ferry, flight, traffic, weather, and other delays. Please notify us as soon as possible if your arrival time changes.
For scheduled pickups, reasonable waiting-time policies may apply. Extended waiting caused by a customer may result in an additional charge.
5. Ferry & Airport Transfers
Customers are responsible for providing accurate arrival information. Island Girl Taxi & Tours will make reasonable efforts to accommodate changes caused by delayed ferries or flights, subject to vehicle and driver availability.
We are not responsible for missed flights, ferries, tours, reservations, or other personal arrangements resulting from circumstances outside our reasonable control.
6. Tours & Private Excursions
Tour itineraries may be adjusted because of weather, road conditions, closures, special events, safety concerns, or other circumstances.
Island Girl Taxi & Tours reserves the right to modify or cancel portions of a tour when necessary for passenger safety or operational reasons.
7. Wedding & Special-Event Transportation
For weddings and special events, customers should provide final transportation schedules and passenger counts as early as possible.
Island Girl Taxi & Tours will make reasonable efforts to follow the agreed schedule. However, traffic, ferry delays, weather, road conditions, vehicle issues, or other circumstances may affect arrival times.
Customers should allow sufficient travel time between venues and scheduled events.
8. Passenger Safety
All passengers are expected to follow applicable transportation laws and reasonable instructions from the driver.
Passengers must remain seated or otherwise comply with applicable vehicle safety requirements while the vehicle is moving.
Island Girl Taxi & Tours may refuse transportation to a passenger whose conduct creates a safety risk to the driver, other passengers, or the public.
9. Children
Parents or guardians are responsible for children traveling with them.
10. Alcohol & Conduct
Alcohol consumption is subject to applicable Virgin Islands law and the driver’s safety requirements.
Illegal drugs, threatening behavior, violence, harassment, excessive intoxication, or behavior that creates a safety concern will not be tolerated.
A trip may be terminated when necessary because of unsafe or unlawful passenger conduct.
11. Personal Belongings
Passengers are responsible for their personal belongings.
Island Girl Taxi & Tours is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property left in a vehicle. If an item is found, we will make reasonable efforts to contact the owner and arrange its return.
12. Vehicle Availability
The specific vehicle shown in advertising or promotional photographs may not always be the vehicle assigned to a particular reservation. Island Girl Taxi & Tours may substitute a comparable vehicle when necessary.
13. Weather & Unforeseen Circumstances
Services may be delayed, modified, or canceled because of severe weather, road closures, ferry disruptions, emergencies, mechanical problems, government restrictions, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
When possible, Island Girl Taxi & Tours will communicate changes and discuss available alternatives.
14. Rates & Additional Charges
Quoted rates apply to the services and itinerary agreed upon at booking. Additional stops, extended waiting, itinerary changes, additional passengers, or other requested services may result in additional charges.
Any additional charges will be communicated when reasonably possible.
15. Limitation of Responsibility
Island Girl Taxi & Tours will make reasonable efforts to provide transportation and tours as booked. However, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, including missed connections, reservations, events, or other expenses resulting from delays or circumstances beyond our reasonable control, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to waive any rights or protections that cannot legally be waived.
